The entrance that broke through
FunnyMike hosted the second annual Streamer Prom on August 13, and the moment nearly everyone quoted the next morning didn't come from his own stream. It was DreamDoll and Pudgie pulling up to the red carpet in a vintage convertible, dressed as a modern-day Biggie and Faith Evans. A clip of the entrance has pulled 1.2 million views on X, along with 36,000 likes and 1,700 reposts.
That kind of number makes a moment feel like it owned the night. We checked what actually happened on Twitch while it was happening.
What got watched versus what got shared
DreamDoll streamed twice that night for a combined 1,610 hours watched, on a channel with 159,578 Twitch followers. Pudgie added another 981 hours, on a channel with 95,980 followers. Together, that's 2,591 hours across the two of them.
FunnyMike's own broadcast, running the event from his channel, pulled 90,809 hours watched in a single stream. That's not a close comparison. His broadcast alone drew more than 35 times the combined audience that DreamDoll and Pudgie's channels pulled the same night.
The gap makes sense once you separate what a clip does from what a live audience does. A clip travels on its own, reshared by accounts that have nothing to do with either creator, reaching people who will never open a stream in their life. A Twitch audience only counts people who actually showed up and stayed tuned to one specific channel. DreamDoll and Pudgie won the first contest by a mile. They weren't close to winning the second.
They weren't the only ones outdrawn by the host
FunnyMike wasn't just bigger than the night's viral stars. He outdrew most of the other big names who showed up too.
Two different jobs
Streamer Prom's real measured audience, based on what we track, belonged to the person running the event, not the pair who took over the timeline the next morning. That's not really a knock on DreamDoll and Pudgie. Going viral and pulling a live Twitch crowd are two different jobs, and they were the ones who actually won the first one.
